In the process of filtering, the filter press is continuously input into the equipment by the filtered liquid. A large amount of filtered liquid exists in the pipeline and path of the equipment, and some filter cakes exist in the filter chamber at the same time, moreover, when the hydraulic system is in normal working condition, it puts extremely strong pressure on the filter plate. When this state suddenly changes because there is no power supply, it is a very important problem for the filter press, we need to deal with it correctly.

Due to the sudden power failure, except the pressure system and control system of the filter press stop working, the feed pump does not send the filter liquid, but there is a large amount of filter liquid in the pipeline and equipment path, the hydraulic system still maintains a high pressure state, and can not reduce the pressure quickly, all these problems need us to deal with immediately.

First, clear and clean the filtered liquid from the equipment. From the feed pump to the drain of the filter press, all the parts that may contain the filter liquid in the middle need to be separated and cleaned to prevent the filter liquid from drying and hardening in the equipment, block every key part of the equipment to prevent these problems from expanding and damaging the equipment when the filter press starts again. It is worthy of special explanation that for the cleaning of filter chamber, the pressure of pressure system should be removed first, and the operating lever of hydraulic system should be controlled to make it in the backward position, use other methods to return the push plate of the filter press, then loosen the filter plates one by one, and wash the whole filter plate and filter cloth with clean water. After cleaning, be careful to dry it as soon as possible.

It is believed that as long as the above points are achieved, the sudden power failure will no longer be a big problem of the filter press, and the filter press will still work like the previous filter press afterwards.
