Hydraulic Chamber Filter Press for Quartz Sand Wastewater Treatment

Quartz sand wastewater mainly comes from sand-washing process. It is featured with high viscosity and large output. In order to achieve recycle of wastewater, you may need hydraulic chamber filter press to help you.

After adding flocculants and sediment, the upper waster can be directly used for sand-washing again. The bottom sludge will be treated by chamber filter press.

Firstly, slurry pump will send quartz sand wastewater to filter press. The wastewater pass through feeding inlet and enters filter chamber (Before filtration, the keep plate will tightly press filter plates, and space between each two filter plates is called filter chamber.).

Secondly, the filter cloth on filter plates will obstruct solid materials. Then the solid materials will accumulate on the filter cloth, and gradually forms filter cakes.

Thirdly, the liquid will pass through filter cloth and discharge from water nozzles. The filtrate can be again used for washing sand.

Finally, when no filtrate flows out, you can control automatic plate shifter by PLC system to pull filter plates to discharge filter cakes.

When all filter cakes are discharged, the keep plate will again press filter plates. Then next filtration starts.

With the help of hydraulic chamber filter press, quartz sand wastewater can be effectively recycled. And filter cakes generated is more easily to be treated.
