Do You Know How to Maintain Chamber Filter Press?

Chamber filter press is a kind of filtering equipment with intermittent operation, which is used for solid-liquid separation of all kinds of suspension. Currently, it is widely used in mining, brewing, environmental protection, food, printing and dyeing, etc.

1.Before using filter press, you should check the order and number of filter plates, and push all plates to the end of  thrust plate, which can guarantee the 

2. You can regualrly clean the filter cloth regularly. During filtration process, small particless or impurities in liquid may block filter cloth. Therefore, you need to regualarly clean filter cloth to improve working efficiency and service life.

3. The components such as bearing, piston rod, automatic plate shifter, chain and so on, should be checked and lubricated regularly. 

4. The maintenance of the hydraulic system is mainly to check the hydraulic components and the tightness of each junction.

5. For the electronic control system, insulation check is needed. If the accuracy of electrical components is found to be poor, it should be repaired in time.

6. If you do not use filter press for a long time, you should clean filter plates and filter cloth and place them in order. And the piston rod and manifold block should be coated with butter.

7. For a new filter press, you should change hydraulic oil once a week. When you change the hydraulic oil, you must clean the fuel tank. In the follwing days, you can change hydraulic oil once a month or once a half year. 

8.When the filter press works, you also need to check its operating state. If  there is something unusual, please inform maintenance personnnel,  so as to check and repair the machine in time.

9. When "elastic deformation" occurs to the beam of the filter press: arrange the filter plates in the direction of the inner arc of the deformation beam, and "reset" after compressing; if conditions permit, lift the single head of the filter press, just straighten the position; if plastic deformation occurs, mechanical correction is needed.
