How does Filter Press Achieve Sewage Treatment

Working principle of BBNEP filter presses

At first, all filter plates close together and form closed filter chambers. Liquid will be send to chambers by pump. At this point, the filtration pressure is minimal and suspension flow rate is maximum. When liquid pass through filter cloth, solid materials will be leaved in filter chambers and gradually form filter cakes. At the same time, the flow rate decreases and the filtration pressure increases. When the chambers are filled with solid materials, the whole machine will keep maximum filtration pressure. The flow rate continues to decrease. The filtrate is discharged along the channel system. When filtrate no longer discharge, a filtration process finishes. Finally, you can unload filter cakes by pull filter plates in turn. If you adopt membrane filter press with automatic plate shifter, you can get filter cakes with lower moisture.
