In terms of a given application, selecting filter cloth with appropriate fabric type is important. The raw materials of filter press cloths are multiple, such as polypropylene, polyester, cotton, nylon and felt. You can select suitable filter cloth according to the nature of the slurry being dewatered. Because filter press is widely used in many fields, that is to say, the solid materials in slurry may be oily, fibrous or even abrasive. And the temperature and PH are also different. Therefore, you must pay more attention to the fabric materials and their characteristics.

Fabric material	Introduction
Polypropylene	It is common material. It has strong resistance to acid-base solutions. In addition, satin finish is added to the fiber so as to make easy cake release. And it is the most popular material.
Polyester	It is usually used when operating temperature is over 180 ℃ or when there is oxidizing agents.
Nylon	Nylon belongs to durable fiber. It is chosen for its long service life. Though its cost is higher, good durability makes it also a hot-sale product.
