Plate and frame filter press, chamber filter press and membrane filter press are ideal wastewater treatment. All of them can separate solid materials from wastewater and convert them into filter cakes with lower moisture. In this way, you can transport sludge with lower cost. They adopt different filter plates (materials and specification)

The plate and frame filter press adopts filter plate and frame plates (made up of PP). During filtration process, one plate and one frame will form a filter chamber for solid liquid separation. The chamber filter press adopts chamber filter plates which are made up of reinforced polypropylene. While membrane filter press adopts membrane filter plates which are made up of TPE membrane. Being different with plate and frame filter plates and chamber filter plates, membrane filter plates are inflatable, so as to further reduce filter cake moisture.

Different methods to discharge filter cakes

Chamber filter press and membrane filter press can realize automatic filter cake discharge by installing automatic plate shifter. However, in terms of plate and frame filter press, you just can manually discharge filter cakes by pull filter plates.
