How can membrane filter press make filter cakes with low moisture?

Membrane filter press is hot-sale wastewater treatment equipment. As we all know, filter press is common equipment for wastewater treatment. The working principle of filter press is solid liquid separation. By filtration, wastewater will become filter cakes and filtration, which can provide convenience for further treatment.

The reason why membrane filter press can make low-moisture filter cakes includes two points. On the one hand, membrane filter press adopts TPE membrane technology, which can make achieve “secondary filtration” by aerating membrane filter plates. On the other hand, membrane filter plates can bear higher pressure, so as to reduce moisture of filter cakes.

The process of making low-moisture filter cakes

1. The slurry is pumped into chambers consisted by multiple filter plates.
2. The slurry enters chambers by central hole in the filter plates. Due to larger diameters, solid materials cannot pass through filter cloth. They leave in filter chambers, and accumulate filter cakes.
3. The filtrate can pass through filter cloth and discharge from channels.
4. When the volume of filtrate become smaller and smaller, you can aerate membrane filter plates to further press filter cakes. When no water discharges, it means the filtration finishes. And you can pull filter plates to unload filter cakes.

When all filter cakes are discharged, all filter plates will be pressed again. And next filtering process begins.
