Hydraulic Filter Press for Papermaking Wastewater

Papermaking wastewater is not easy to meet discharge standard. After a series techniques, filter press will separate solid materials and liquid in the wastewater. Now, let us know the detailed treatment process of papermaking wastewater.

Firstly, hydraulic screen will trap short fiber and other impurities. Then the wastewater will enter regulating reservoir. The reservoir will homogenize water quality and adjust water yield, so as to reduce influence of water quality and yield fluctuation on subsequent biochemical treatment.

Secondly, pump sends wastewater to air floatation tank. Then you need to add coagulant and flocculants (PAC, PAM) to make solid materials form into flocculating constituents. At the same time, the tiny bubbles from dissolved gas-water preparation will pick up flocculating constituents, so as to achieve solid liquid separation.

Thirdly, wastewater will enter sedimentation tank after pulse hydrolysis acidification and bio-contact oxidation.

Finally, the upper liquid achieves discharge standard. You can recycle it or discharge directly. The bottom sludge will be treated by hydraulic filter press. After filtration, solid materials in wastewater will become filter cakes with lower moisture, which is more convenient for stack and transportation.
