When filtrate passes through filter cloth, it can flow in any direction. Therefore, this design can greatly improve filtration efficiency by shorten flow path. In addition, the filter plates are made up of polypropylene by melting and molding, which has stronger anti-pressure ability and stable chemical properties.

After the filter press is completed, the feed pump is turned off, and high-pressure gas or liquid is introduced into the diaphragm plate to perform "'secondary press'" on the filter cake. There is no final "secondary press" for plate and frame filter presses and chamber filter presses.
