In order to meet some industries’ requirements of lower filter cake moisture, BBNEP manufactures membrane filter press, which has function of “secondary filtration”. The membrane filter plates are made up of TPE rubber. The filtration part of membrane filter press includes membrane filter plates and chamber filter press, and they are arranged alternatively. You can introduce air or water to membrane filter plates, so as to make them expand and further press filter cakes. In this way, the moisture of filter cakes will be further reduced. This filtering equipment is suitable for municipal wastewater treatment and dyeing wastewater treatment.

The filter press uses a pressure pump to send mud into the closed chambers formed between the two adjacent filter plates. The pressure difference formed on both sides of the filter cloth makes the filter flow smoothly through the filter cloth and flows along the filter plate to the outlet. Because of larger diameters, solid materials gradually accumulate in the filter chamber and form a filter cake, so as to achieve the effect of solid liquid separation. Under the combined effect of pump pressure and equipment pressure, the water content of the filter cake can be reduced to 40%. Compared with a large amount of sludge, filter cake is easier to handle and transport.
