Open flow means that the filtrate flows out separately from the nozzle installed on each filter plate. This design is suitable for most of the sewage industry, and can effectively observe the filtration effect and filtration process of the filter press.

The principle of solid-liquid separation is adopted by the filter press for the treatment of sewage sludge. According to the discharge standard of sewage, the solid matter in the sewage is separated to meet the discharge conditions. In the solid-liquid separation process, the filter cloth plays a direct role. After the sewage enters each filter chamber of the filter press, the filter cloth intercepts the solid matter larger than its pore size. These solid particles gradually accumulate to form a filter cake with lower water content under the pressure. After a series of pre-processes and post-filtering, the sewage can be directly discharged or reused in operations as needed.
