Among them, underflow refers to that the filtrate condenses in the channel formed at the lower end of the filter plate and is discharged uniformly from the end of the filter press. This design is mainly to meet the treatment of corrosive and irritating odor sewage, which can effectively prevent negative impact on staff and the working environment. Open flow means that the filtrate flows out separately from the nozzle installed on each filter plate. This design is suitable for most of the sewage industry, and can effectively observe the filtration effect and filtration process of the filter press.

The filter plates of the filter press are closely arranged to form a closed filter chamber under the combined action of the keep plate and the thrust plate. Under the pressure of the feed pump, the materials are sent into each filter chamber. At this time, the pressure difference between the two sides of the filter cloth causes solid matter to be trapped in the filter chamber and gradually accumulate to form a filter cake. The liquid passes through the filter cloth, flows along the filter plate groove to the lower liquid outlet. After the filtration is completed, you can release the filter plate. The filter plate can be unloaded by manually or automatically pulling the filter plate in sequence. When the discharge is completed, the filter plate can be pressed again for the next cycle.
